TravelPerk wanted to develop their leaders and to set all their managers up for success so they could excel in their roles.

As a company, they wanted to bring their leaders together to connect with each other and learn more about their own skills, as well as the skills of others as a result.

The 200 leaders at the company needed a well-organized development experience that was really impactful. Fun was a high priority in order to facilitate genuine connection, but it also needed to be a practical session, so that leaders could bring back tangible learnings to their roles.

We designed a 3-hour development experience to instil confidence and skills in four main leadership areas.

In the experience we focused on Leadership Style, Personal Brand, Manager Foundations (building on past development) and Peer-to-Peer Connection.

The Summit centred around the theme of authenticity which helped to solidify the desired outcomes. The managers reflected and interacted with ideas of what it means to lead authentically, including connection games and Lego serious play activities.

This event provided the opportunity for the majority of TravelPerk’s managers to meet in one room and engage in a connecting, confidence-building experience together.

With this, they were able to return to their roles with more knowledge of their skills, including how to utilize them to the best of their ability, and a network of managers across the organization.
