People Playbook is the exclusive delivery partner for the official Bonfire Moment workshop.
The Bonfire Moment is a powerful one-day workshop created by Martin Gonzalez and Josh Yellin to help ambitious teams face the people issues that can quietly derail progress, trust, and performance.

The materials were developed through Google for Startups and have benefited thousands of teams across 70 countries.
People Playbook is the exclusive trusted delivery partner for organizations who want to run the official workshop.
The Bonfire Moment is a structured one-day workshop that helps teams step out of the day-to-day fire and examine how they really work together. Across four guided blocks, participants reflect on their leadership, understand the hidden dynamics shaping collaboration, build deeper honesty and trust, and work through the unspoken issues that may be slowing the team down.
Participants begin with structured reflection on their own leadership strengths, blind spots and contribution to the team dynamic. This creates a clear starting point for honest conversation and helps the team focus on the people issues that can otherwise stay hidden beneath day-to-day delivery.
The team then explores the motivations, expectations, work styles and preferences that shape how they collaborate. Through the User Guide process, participants make invisible assumptions visible, helping the team understand what each person needs, where friction may arise, and how to work together more effectively.
This block creates space for people to move beyond pitch mode and share the fears, doubts and protective behaviours they may carry into the work. The aim is not performance or polish, but greater honesty, empathy and human connection across the team.
The final block turns candour into action. The team identifies the most important sources of friction, discusses the elephants in the room, and agrees practical ways to move forward with more clarity, respect and shared commitment.

The Bonfire Moment is designed for ambitious teams working under pressure: founder teams, leadership teams, scale-up teams, innovation teams, and organizations facing the people challenges that come with growth, change, or high-stakes work.
It is especially useful when your team needs to pause, reset, and have the conversations that day-to-day delivery rarely makes space for.
