Google Cloud Consulting (GCC) wanted leaders to fully understand and champion their FY24 strategy.

A rapidly growing global team of over 3,000 employees, it was crucial for GCC to get their senior leaders on board with the upcoming strategic plans.

Ahead of the Global Leadership Summit in New York, the challenge was to ensure these leaders could land an inspiring message, confidently present the GCC strategy and pitch, and act as advocates for upcoming changes.

Equally important was creating a strong sense of belonging within the global GCC team, so that every leader felt connected, aligned, and ready to inspire their local teams worldwide.

We designed and facilitated a 2-day experience to prepare leaders to advocate for their strategy.

The agenda blended connection-building exercises, hands-on strategy workshops (using LEGO Serious Play to visualize and personalize the FY24 strategy), and practical communication skill development.

Key sessions included Strategy Storytelling, Pitch Perfect Communication (conviction, content, and closing techniques), and a fun Pitch Madness competition to allow leaders the space to craft and deliver the GCC pitch.

Participants practiced responding to tough questions, refined their messaging, and built a shared commitment to act as advocates for GCC’s vision. This experiential design combined playfulness with practical tools, leaving leaders inspired and ready to engage their global teams.
